Movie Studio Platinum 17, the last Vegas version, was discontinued a couple of years back. It could do almost anything Vegas Pro did, but without scripting, certain plugin support, and advanced grading options. Movie Studio 2022 is a Magix product.

But isn't Vegas Pro also from Magix? The purchase of both is made on the same website - www.vegascreativesoftware.com.

If the use is not so professional, is Movie Studio the most suitable?

Unfortunately the current Movie Studio Platinum 2022 (or 18) is now a totally different MAGIX product than VEGAS MSP and it is not supported on this forum. However, it is supported at https://www.magix.info/us/video-forum/movie-edit-pro/. Please ask there and/or study the product pages. For some reason, the new Movie Studio product line is still listed on VEGAS product pages.

As mentioned above, VEGAS Movie Studio products were discontinued and dropped mid-2021 and are not available from MAGIX/VEGAS any more.

There is a free trial available so you can test the new Movie Studio for yourself.

@Ricardo-Bacchin, Movie Studio 17 and older were what I like to call a "baby brother" to VEGAS Pro. You could call it a "lite" version. It looked and felt the same but didn't have as many features. The last version was 17.

"Movie Studio 18" is based off of a different Magix NLE so it will have a totally different look and feel and feature set. Magix really confused the issue by changing one of their other products to now be named "Movie Studio".

So while they're both owned by Magix, Movie Studio is now a completely different product and no longer related to "VEGAS".
