Green lines in any video format, no preview video

After installing Vegas pro 20 i tried to made some videos but in every single video in every possible format ( even old videos that i used in vegas 13) had green lines, no preview, video renders with black screan. Audio is ok BTW, tried to encode video to lover quality or another format, rename compoundplug, made more used RAM in properties but nothing helped. I was Using vegas 13 on my old laptop with all this videos and all worked well)

That's likely a GPU issue. Does the computer on which you are using Vegas Pro 20 meet the recommended minimum specifications for Vegas Pro 20, as per: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/specifications/#productMenu

It would be most helpful if you would detail your computer's specifications.

new laptop has Processor GPU graphics

The recomanded for Vegas 20 is Intel® GPU HD Graphics 530 series or higher, I have Radeon HD 5700 , wich is 30-143% more productive in different tests. Should i anyway try to install older version of Vegas? i am not sure if it has trial version to try it..

The demo and the full version are the same. If one has issues, the other one will too. Did you try the suggestions above?

Downloaded version 13 here and there was option for trial. But when in this version 13 i am trying to press (buy online) it sends me to main page with V20

MAGIX sells only the latest version of VEGAS. You may be able to purchase the license for some of the older versions on the web. Be sure to look for a reliable established seller. Most of the offers online are cracked/pirated versions and not licensed by the manufacturer.

No, it won't. A serial number for Vegas Pro 20 will only work in Vegas Pro 20. Vegas Pro serial numbers are not backwards compatible to previous versions of Vegas Pro.

The last time that a trial version of Vegas Pro 13 was officially available (and Vegas Pro 13 was released under Sony ownership at the time) was up until about Q3 2016 when Vegas Pro 14 was released under the new ownership of MAGIX. If you've downloaded a Vegas Pro 13 version that purports to be a 'trial' version, it is almost certainly from a pirate website.

You'd need to find a Vegas Pro 13 owner who is willing to sell you their Vegas Pro 13 serial number and is able to transfer the ownership to you via MAGIX Support. If you take this route, you will need to have a high level of trust in the seller because there are so many scams out there on the internet. There are those selling the same Vegas Pro serial number time and time again but only one user can register and activate a serial number and all the others who have bought that serial number find that it is unusable.

I have to agree that it looks like a graphics problem. But you haven't given your full computer specs. IF it's the RX5700 flavor graphics (5700M), there should be no problem with the correct drivers installed.

If your graphics card is the 5700M, here is a link to the DRIVERS. Download the WHQL HERE is the AMD graphics driver download page. I can't see it (I have it already installed and only see things for my graphics card), but there might be a link to download the Autodetect which will see what chipset, gpu, etc you have and download the correct version and install it for you.

Ok so after testing vegas pro 18 ( it worked well) i almost decided to by pro 18 edit on steam. Before this i tried to fully reset pc, install all drivers again, and .... damn it worked, vegas pro 20 works good, i think i will spend few more days to test all the effects before bying it. Thank you guys, without you i will probably be wasting my time for other few days!
