How to render without a background in Movie Studio Platinum 13.0?

In order to render an alpha channel, you need source that already contains an alpha layer. You cannot "create" transparency by checking a button.

Might try transparent PNG or PSD instead.

If checking Source Alpha or Premultiplied doesn't work with your source image, I don't know how to help, bud.

Is there any update available for this? I've heard that a couple of times through my own research as well so I'm thinking they could have patched it so that it actually works. I have 13.0 and I don't think I ever updated it...

You'll get the last Magix rebranded build # 987 (64-bit) using any of the options in this FAQ, points 2 to 5. With luck, the "archive" links in point 6 may give you the last SCS build # 955 (which is practically the same as 987 from Magix).

When I first taught myself Vegas Video 2, I found myself doing a lot of things I couldn't understand or explain well enough to fix on my own or on the forum. Any one of us would know instantly what you did, if we were standing at your computer.
