I would like to purchase Sony Vegas 9 or 10; where can I this software

I want to purchase a copy of Sony Vegas 9 or 10. I am currently using Windows 10, I am not sure if that will be a problem. I would just really like to have this software. What is the best way to get in contact with support so I can purchase this from them instead of having to do this all through an automated process because I have a lot of questions. For example, if I cannot download 9 or 10 because they are not compatible with windows 10, what is the earliest version of Sony Vegas I can purchase that is compatible with Windows 10? Also, how much is it?

Also, if my computer becomes damaged how do I get the same copy of Sony Vegas back on my new computer so that I do not have to pay for the program again?

I have other questions but I will start with this first. I really need and love this software. I would like to speak to a representative to discuss how we can do business and need a specialist to help me. I am sure the forums will be helpful, I just feel like an actual employee would be able to find me what I need better.

Do you have a previous version of Sony or Magix Vegas software?

I am not an employee, but from my experience with Sony and now Magix, you cannot purchase older versions directly from them. You might be able to find older versions on Amazon or Ebay.

I have (32 bit) VP-9 on my Dell XPS Win10 PC, and it runs perfectly fine.

Same here the last time that I had VP 10 installed on Win10 PC. As DougT wrote, you might be able to find older versions on Amazon or Ebay, but beware of cracked/pirated copies.

If installed on a W 10 PC it is the best to install at at the compatible mode for a Windows number under which the software was delivered.

Vegas 9.0c barely supported AVC, and you needed Quicktime 7.6 to run it.

Vegas 10 was better because it had its own codec, but could only work up to 1080p.

If you are on a budget, I would suggest waiting until VP 14 shows up again on Humble Bundle for $20. Also watch for Vegas on Steam, G2A, and Kinguin, who are all legitimate resellers.
