Is there anyway to speed up my clip more than the allowed.

Verin.des wrote on 7/13/2018, 8:14 AM

I just want to speed up my video to make a speed art video, but I was using Camtasia 9 for that and now I am using sony vegas 15.

Please tell me that there is anyway to speed up a video more than the allowed. because in Camtasia you can speed it or slow it down how ever you want.

Thanks!

EDIT: Records are more than 1 hour, so speeding them up make the video 10+ minutes, and that causes bad results for me.

Btw., there's no Sony Vegas 15 (or 14).

Imma using Vegas 15, imma trying to speed it up to something like 12.00x speed

That's not a problem. Use Velocity Envelope and the Playback Rate. Both will speed up footage and both can be used at the same time.

Sorry imma stupid ... what that exactly mean?

1) "imma" isn't a word in any language. Please stop using it.

2) The FULL EXPLANATION how to do what you want is shown in the links posted above by vkmast.

There is nothing more for us to do. If you can't understand it due to language differences, etc. than you need to find a local Vegas friend to help you out. 😀 Good luck.

It is impossible to achieve 12x speed without blending or interpolation frames to reduce stutter. That usually doesn't look very good.

Keep successive lossless renders to multiples of 2x and 4x, disable resampling, and you will be at a solid starting point for adding a tiny motion blur or whatever if you don't want stop motion.
