Issue with aspect ratio on jpeg import

Dale-Benolkin wrote on 9/14/2020, 3:35 PM

I am creating a short music video using jpg images. Most of the images have been sized at 1920x1080, however there are some that are other resolutions (1440x1080, etc.). When I drag these images onto the timeline, they are stretched to 1920x1080. I have opened the pan/crop tool where the dimensions are listed correctly (1440x1080), but in the display it is stretched to fill the frame. Changing "Stretch to fill frame" to "No" has no effect. Changing "Maintain aspect ratio" has no effect. How can I display these images at their native aspect ratio? I don't mind the side bars. Thanks!

@Dale-Benolkin

Change the event Media Properties / Pixel Aspect Ratio of the problem media from 1.33 (HDV 1080) to 1.0000 (Square Pixels).

As a follow on, is there a way to import all the jpegs so I do not have to visit each one individually? Or change the properties of all the jpegs on the timeline?

By the way... that was a great tutorial you made.
