Video file format(*.MP4) from Sony Cybershot(DSC-H70) does not work in Vegas Movie Studio 15.0 while video files(*.mp4) from my android phone does work. What should I do to make video files from DSC-H70 work in Vegas Movie Studio? PC has windows10.
You see, .mp4 is a wrapper, but you haven't said what is inside that wrapper.
How would I know what is inside? Any example please?

It uses a codec that isn't widely used (h263 with mono AAC).
Easiest solution is to convert in Handbrake before loading in Vegas.
Got the Handbrake app. What should be the settings? Not sure of what to do?
General - Fast 720p preset
On the Video page select Constant frame rate

Sadly, that should NOT be the answer. Handbrake is a crutch that Magix leans on when their product fails.
It's sad that the ticket I placed with Magix did not resolve anything. Thanks to Musicvid and handbrake.
