Not working after updated version installed

I recently downloaded Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 17 to my PC, via Voucher Code in box from Best Buy.

It was working fine, then it asked if I wanted to update the conversion, as updates are available. So, I did.

Once the update was completed, I went to open the Application, just as I did before the update.

It pops up the error code & box, that says it has error, then prompts me to send a message. I did.

I have tried to Uninstall & Re Install the Updated Version, and the 1st Version I ever had. I have tried through the Original email I received for download, and I have tried through my computer by finding the previous apps.

What am I missing here? Why is not working after updated? How do I just get my original version to work? I just want to use it. This has been very difficult so far. Any help would be great, as Vegas or Matrix does NOT have a phone number to call for support.

Did you register your first purchased version with Magix? If you did, your Magix Account has your serial number. Beyond that, we are a peer forum, and can't help you with registration issues. Support link is at the top of this page.

Yes, I did register the 1st purchased version. Things were fine until I clicked the "Update" and now it is not able to open the App.

Check the activations on your MAGIX Account > My products > your software > Show More Details... Deactivate if there are existing devices there. See if that helps. If not, try contacting Support as advised above.

Same issue here Factory reset doesn't help. It seems like 3rd party plug-ins causing the issue, in my case Ignite. Usually re-installing the plug-in helps (which I didn't do, yet).

Hmmmm... Not sure what is going on.. I have reached out to support, but it is not the quickest process so far.
