The problem I'm having is I have an older (I guess un-supported too) version of movie studio.

I have the Vegas Movie Studio HD Version 9,I know there are other newer versions but this is all I need as I don't do all that youtube stuff,so the problem is after I put in a new hard drive and went to re-install my programs,the movie studio hd is the only one I can't install.no where to put the serial number to activate and the program won't even open after installed,just gives me a box saying "your product license has expired." then the date of 10/11/2015.

i'm not all that tech savy but this was suppsed to just be a re-install of programs.
