registration and activation

Installed the vegas pro 12 disc to my laptop. followed the instructions to putting in my Serial number. But when i click on next, to register, it comes up with "Error, can't connect to server, try again later". But when i try again, i get the same message.

Vegas Pro 12 is not a Magix Product.
