Hello,
I'm a former Vegas Pro 14 User, who has been using Vegas Movie Studio 17 Platinum over the past 6 months, due to budget constraints, and am finally fed up with the rendering issues. Every time I've gone to render on my last few video projects, it has froze consistently and made it so I have to keep going back to the spots it's freezing and get rid of or adjust the transitions I'm using (most of the time it's a simple 60 frame crossfade.) Since switching to recording in 3840x1080p (one 1920 is my webcam, the other my computer screen) I've had to do this at least 8 different times per 20-30 minute video meaning it took me over 26 hours of trial and error to get my last video to render.
Because of this I have looked everything up online and tried all the reddit forum troubleshooting suggestions and even youtube suggestions and nothing still works. I've been contemplating going to Adobe but it's super expensive. I saw that Vegas 19 has a free trial and downloaded it but it won't let me render anything over 2 minutes long, which is understandable, but doesn't reassure me that I won't have problems in the future.
Did anyone else have these issues on previous iterations of Vegas softwares? If so, were these fixed in 19? Is there a money back guarantee if I buy the fully licensed version and it continues to do this? I'll post my VMS 17 Plat rendering settings attached and be following this post.
