I think someone here talk about the main reason why VEGAS crash alot before, due to its core, idk some coding stuff.

"VEGAS should Play Audio while scrubbing", you can use the scrub bar, located at bottom left. But personally I like how VEGAS currently rn, Maybe I dislike if VEGAS play audio while scrubbing.

The rest, yeah agreed

@xcxz-a

The review posted by an amateur is as unimpressive as your "revelations."

You haven't learned the program yet, so why all the complaints?

Need a hug, maybe?

Dexcon wrote on 10/20/2020, 6:18 PM

Personally, I found the review to be mostly positive - but the presenter did get a few things wrong which were corrected in the YT comments section. Indeed, the presenter said a couple of times that he was happy to be corrected in Comments if he got something wrong. And he did say that his concern about one aspect of VP18 was based on personal preference rather than anything else.

Nonetheless, the OP of this post chose to selectively concentrate on the relatively few 'negative' comments on the YT post (including one from a former Vegas Pro user who said that he last used VP when he was 10 years old) and ignore the overwhelming number of comments which were positive and/or balanced towards Vegas Pro.

Why these good suggestions are classsified into "OFFTOPIC". They are indeed "INTOPIC". The developers can't envisage good suggestions?

vkmast wrote on 10/20/2020, 6:54 PM

The developers are not involved in classifying topics on this forum. Currently the general thread of feature requests and suggestions for future versions is on Offtopic as well. Please consider posting good suggestions of your own in future there for the developers to consider.

@vkmast All these youtube Vegas users are lost users of VEGAS. Their suggestions of course are good. You official or developers guys should listen and understand them, rather than classify them into "Offtopic". They are absolutely "INTOPIC".

Musicvid wrote on 10/20/2020, 7:46 PM

No, they're non-topic until you learn to use the program. Until then, they're insipid.

@Musicvid Objective facts are not subject to human will. They indeed are good suggestions in objective facts.

Musicvid wrote on 10/20/2020, 9:00 PM

You are correct. Human will is vulnerable only to delusions of objectivity and grandeur, in which a normal, evolving frontal cortex mercifully intervenes by our twenties. A mirror can sometimes help speed that along.

You have made no attempt whatsoever to establish even a semblance of objectivity, but instead present yourself as a human Twitter. You do, however, have an obligation here to prepare your statements with a modicum of plausibility and accountability, something with which you have not bothered. The standards of professional conduct and discourse we have worked so hard to build and maintain here demand a higher level of integrity than social media, and I will continue working diligently to enable and facilitate that division.

Building a fallacious argument around other people's quotes is ad populum^2, dominium^0. "But she said the sky is falling. Really!"

Don't worry, you won't ever see me addressing you directly again. It doesn't wash off well. Try these expectations on for size:

COMMUNITY RULES

Community rules – our netiquette

When a lot of people come together in a place like the VEGAS Community, it's important to lay down a few ground rules to ensure a high-quality experience for everyone. The following rules apply to vegascreativesoftware.info:

We reserve the right to change to the community rules at any time. We will inform you of such changes within a reasonable amount of time before they go into effect.

1. This is a community – not a competition

Respect the opinions and views of other members of the community. Insults, coarse language, and harassment of any kind toward other community members is forbidden. Avoid provoking other members and keep your comments factual and objective. Angry posts written to blow of steam will be deleted. Members of the community who write such posts will be warned. Repeat violations will result in removal from the community.

2. Ask meaningful, friendly questions

Make your posts and questions as friendly and understandable as possible.

If you ask a question about a specific MAGIX software product or online service, remember to include information about your hardware, operating system and the specific software version you are using, including the version number (e.g. Movie Edit Pro 2015).

vegascreativesoftware.info is a free service for questions and conversations about multimedia. However, vegascreativesoftware.info is not a replacement for professional support and is not an official support service. For this reason, it is possible that your questions and posts may not receive responses. If this happens, try writing your post in a different way. Making your posts friendly and clear can work wonders.

The editors and moderators of vegascreativesoftware.info can provide you with tips for using the service , and they also watch the community and moderate discussions. However, they are not official MAGIX Support staff members. If you don't receive an answer to your question, get in touch with MAGIX Support at:https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/support/ They will be more than happy to help you.

Note: The editors and moderators of this website reserve the right to edit content in order to change the arrangement of information on topics, to avoid provocations and to formulate questions in a more precise manner. We appreciate your understanding.

3. Avoid repeat or meaningless topics

Many problems have already been discussed in the vegascreativesoftware.info community, and solutions are already available for them. We recommend using the search feature to look for an answer to your question before making a new post. This helps the forum remain uncluttered and cuts down on the number of posts with the same or nearly the same content. Cross posting, i.e. spreading around the same entry in multiple categories, should be avoided.

Do not make posts that lack informative input. This includes posts that consist of only 1 to 3 words (e.g. to acknowledge the post before you) or posts that only contain emoticons. The editors and moderators will delete these types of posts if they become aware of them. Unnecessary quotes may also be shortened or deleted completely. In the end, most people want to find the right information as quickly as possible and not have to read through a wall of smiley faces first.

4. Advertising + Spam

Use of the community for commercial purposes of any kind is forbidden. Sending SPAM emails is also forbidden.

5. Promotion of illegal copies and illegal downloads, and pornographic, racist, or discriminating contributions

Requesting, promoting, advertising, and linking to copyright-protected material for illegal purposes is strictly forbidden. Linking to, advertising, and displaying pornographic material will not be tolerated. Entries which incite racial hatred or provoke seditious actions may be punishable by law. Discrimination against minorities will not be tolerated.

6. Directives – Noncompliance

Please follow instructions provided by our editors and moderators. We want to keep the quality of discussions at a consistently high level and prevent content which is offensive to users, MAGIX employees and moderators. Those who use the forums as a personal venting ground, as well as those who repeatedly cause trouble, will face consequences for doing so.

Harassing other members may be met with warnings, temporary bans or complete removal from the community by the editors and moderators. Private messages should also be written in an appropriate tone.

@Dexcon

The video presenter chose to issue a number of opinions about render times without listing source or output parameters, encoders, external variables such as effects, or any comparative results with other applications whatsoever, except for his own personal judgment. Even by the most relaxed standards one could expect of Youtube, that spells "amateur." Thanks as always for your take, you know I respect and always learn from your input.
