The problem:
I’ve been working on a video for a week (with several annoying crashes in the process.....) and the result (not the final one) is a 6 minutes and 25 seconds long video which SVP13 won’t render. I decided to check if the program could render the temporary result, but it just can’t.
Initially, the problem was that very frustrating “Vegas Pro has stopped working” pop-up that randomly appeared during the rendering process (providing no details), so I tried some of the common solutions to this. Here what I tried:
- Disabled GPU acceleration
- Set dynamic RAM preview to 0
- Disabled multi-core rendering in the internal tab
- Disabled opencl in the internal tab
- Set “cpu only” in the render option in the customize template tab when “rendering as”
- Finally I tried to render 3 sub-parts of the project (using the loop region)
When rendering theese shorter parts of the project, it crashed a few times, but somehow I obtained the three sub-videos.
I tried to stitch together thoose parts and render the result, but the problem became another one: now, when rendering, the program just freezes at some point. The timer keeps going but the “%” remains the same.
So I tried to save the project with name, open a new one, import the saved project as media (so that the three parts become a whole) and render, but the problem is the same. It won’t finish rendering.
I tried using a default template (Sony AVC internet 1080p-30fps) and the program was able to render it. But when I try to set FPS to 59.94 NTSC, the problem persists.
So I went back to the default template (30fps) and I tried to double the video to see if the problem was related to the 60FPS, and the program failed again. It stucked at 84% for no reason.
This is driving me crazy, I’m begging you for help.
