VEGAS PRO 15 - Embarressing Glitch While Importing

Mohammed_Anis wrote on 11/3/2017, 6:48 PM

I encountered this glitch while attempting to make a tutorial with VEGAS PRO 15. Please note that I re-tried this with GPU acceleration disabled.

These thumbnails belong to a previous project file I was working on. I have no idea how this is happening.

MAGIX, I'm paying you in good faith that you would have at least ironed out the glitches left by Sony's sloppy development of the product. Not to make it worse. This is just ridiculous.

The link won't open for me, but any help from here?

I fixed the link. Yes, your solution helped. But this has been a problem that's been around since Vegas 12!

Thanks anyway mate.

Not only do the thumbnails get corrupted, but the whole explorer / project media bins / organizing system is far too slow, too limited and unwieldy to be used on modern media. I gave up and use a combination of Bridge CC and Grass Valley Mync (both are free) to review and storyboard my footage before dragging them straight on to the timeline in Vegas.

Pity, because I would love to "hover scrub" trim and organize within Vegas to build up rough cuts before ever touching a timeline.

This may sound like a strange question, but are Quantize and Snapping turned on before putting anything on the timeline?

There is a similar issue going all the way back to Vegas 2...
