@josep-c try the windows 10 event log files, it is a bit hidden, but sometimes they tell you what went wrong if Vegas does spawn an error, such as for example an offending OFX...

From the windows command line type 'eventvwr'

next in the event Viewer, select windows logs ==> Application, and try to find an error there

The Vegas pro 17 program freezes. When I bought the pro 17 version to replace pro16 I had many problems. I couldn't render my videos, the program freezes at different points. I was informed that the problem could be my PC An Acer Intel core i7 with 24G Ram, 6G graphics card, two discs, one solid. I recently purchased a new HP Intel core i9 PC from last generation, 64 G of ram, 11G graphics card etc. In conversation with Microsoft Windows confirms that my PC is working properly and that the problem is in Vegas Pro 17.I have tried all the tutorial solutions and the problem is not solved. What can I do?

I recently had similar issues with Vegas 16. My issue was that I was editing in 60fps. When I turned my project down to 29.97fps, I have entirely stopped having random crashes. Well, maybe 99% stopped.

Try changing this and reporting back. I am very curious.

Thank you for your response. Answer your requirements from my PC, Vegas program, Windows installed, Filmadora, and rendarization formats I use.

...: Vegas pro17 Version 17.0 (build 452). Copyright (c) 2019.  Windows 10.0 (64 bits) version 6.02.9200. ....

  Processor Intel (R) core (TM) I9-9900K CPU@3, 60Ghz number processors 16.

...  Memoria Physics 65,414.2 Mb

Camara filming: SONY HD AVCHD Model HDR-XR 520 VE.

...  The videos rendered are for watch on television...

Tarjeta Grafica NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti...

.   Explanation of the problem: The program can freeze at any time during editing a video. I can't specify the reason why it stops.  Rendering is impossible.  You can stop for a few seconds to start the rendaritzation as after a few minutes.

  Rendaritzacó Formats: MAGIX AVC/AAC MP4  "Internet HD 1080p 25fps.   Also SONY AVC/MVC  "AVC 1920x1080-50i "...

. I'm confident that I can facilitate the solution to the problem
