Vegas Pro 17 Trial Rendering Not Working

Jean-Kim wrote on 2/8/2020, 11:34 AM

I am using the trial version of Vegas Pro 17 and was aware of the fact that I can't render a video that is longer than 2 minutes. When I selected the region I wanted to render (which is about 44 seconds long), I still got the notification that videos over 2 minutes weren't able to be rendered. I searched for every possible way to solve this, but I am stuck, and I really need your help.

If you happen to know the solution or have any suggestions, please let me know. It would mean so much to me in this rather frustrated situation. I'll be looking forward to your replies.

I recall two minutes (or there abouts) is the maximum render duration for the trial version. There are other limitations as well.

instead of using a region, maybe try putting that section of the video at the beginning of the timeline, and delete everything before and after it.

I was aware of this so I made the video to be 44 seconds long but it still rejects me from rendering... Thanks for your concern and reply anyways!! :)))

Create a Loop Region for your 44 sec segment.

In your render dialog, select "Render loop region only."

You might need to note this comment from the dev last year. "As far the [=as?] the 2 minute restriction, it is not based on the region selection, but the entire project length."

It won't work for the reason in vkmast's post above. Your entire project needs to be under 2 mins.

I wonder why what @fr0sty suggested did not work for you. Probably needed "saving as" after deletions? But thanks for confirming this restriction mentioned by the VEGAS team member.
