Video Preview on External Monitor is White - Movie Studio 17

Just noticed that when I click on the button to view my preview on an external monitor, it displays a "White" screen. This has not happened before. Before when I click on the button, the preview would play on my Preview Monitor. Now it just shows "White". Any idea what cause this? And how to get it to work again.

Running Movie Studio 17 - Build 143, Windows 10 64bit with 32GB of memory.

Try unplugging and replugging your HDMI cable. Solved it for me.

Thanks. I tried that, but it didn't work. I can preview, but not on an External Monitor. Strange - wondering what happened.

"If it worked before", resetting is worth trying at least. The instructions apply to Movie Studio(s) as well.

was worse on the latest build

anyway to fix it ?
