The video bit rate for DVD Fab is much higher than for DVDA which explains the quality difference. However the DVDFab bit rate is too high for burning to a regular DVD that will be playable on a standard DVD player. DVD Architect sticks to the correct max bit rate to comply with the normal DVD standard. The DVD Fab files may be playable directly from a Media player but not from a disc.

Your workflow, your anecdotes, and your impressions are 100% opposite of mine, having used DVDA, and other authoring programs for twenty years, especially your redundant render to .m2t. As I suggested, TMPGENC Author is a worthy alternative for some.

Since you reject the most fundamental advice and methodology, and you are using a product that I believe is now banned in the US, you are entirely on your own, and good luck!

and one more reason which attract me that Vegas pro use less time to render .m2t files

and of course quality is the at top of the list

see client does not know which app or which method i use to satisfy his needs related to work he just want good

result and DVD fab give very good result

now i want to know which app is banned in us ? DVD fab ?

mean in which profile i have to render my footage? what will be my project setting if i used 1920x1080 - 50p

If you don't like Vegas' built in Mpeg2 encoder, first of all try customizing the settings to match those of the settings you like (just keep in mind, if your total bitrate goes above 9.8mbps, you break compliance and lose compatibility with any DVD player not capable of playing discs above that bitrate. It might work in your computer, in your playstation, but pop it in a set top player, especially an older one, and you will have issues.

Another option is to frameserve out of vegas into another mpeg 2 encoding app that you like better. I personally find Vegas' encoder to be more than sufficient, especially the newer versions.

there is lot of way to make dvd from vegas

there is nothing hard and fast rule there but i am surprise why you give more importants only one way ?

i write before i need 2 outputs 1 for dvd

2nd for pen drive

the hd file i render with .m2t i make dvd in dvd fab with in 10 minute

and i find way to make video for tv use in pen drive

it took only 18 to 22 minutes for conversion for 1 hour video in 1 good video converter.

JR never said that. He started with HDV mpeg-2 video fifteen years ago, just like I did. YOU have never communicated with JR on these forums.

Seriously, jasmo, you are posting in a support forum for Vegas.

You've got lots of ideas, but personally I would like to read them in the Off-Topic forum, where you will feel free to say anything you want, within the posting guidelines.

I will suggest moving further discussions on your topic to that forum in the future. Unfortunately, there are standards for making DVD, and i feel i need to stick to them, since I, and others I suspect, plan on sharing our creations with others. Good luck.

i start with this

i have 2 requirement 1 -for DVD 2nd for H.D for t.v

you know with my footage if i use DVD architecture templates it will take 40 ti 45 minutes to render and after take 5 to 7 minutes to burn DVD

again i render with hand brake for tv it took 45 minutes in progersive if i set to default

( if i render with bob deinterlace filter it took 1.25 hour to render

so almost 2 ans 2.45 hours for 1 hour project

with my way

it took 40 minute to render .m2t in HD

7 minute to render for DVD 5 minute to burn

and 15 to 17 minute for render for T.V in M Peg interlaced play back on any T.v

i took 70 minutes for all thing. and quality is far better then DVD architecture.
