I'm asking you to help me quickly. I have to make a film in about 5 hours.  There was an error "ERROR CODE -59". I have the original software! What can I do? I am so disappointed with this bad program.

I don't want to erase everything because I have a lot of settings saved.

If it is already installed on two computers, deregister one of them.

If you bought your software from Magix, contact technical support.

This is a peer forum, sorry we can't be of help.

Found this laying around the net. This is for the steam version, the normal windows version is in a different program files folder (c:/program files/VEGAS)

1.) Run regedit
2.) Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Sony Creative Software.
3.) Delete Vegas Pro entries
4.) Delete Vegas Pro from the folder C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps/common
5.) Download and install the software again.

Sony Creative Software? x86?

Cold uninstall instructions for Vegas are to be found here, but back up first and use with caution.

I was also hit by this error code on Vegas 17

and yes it's a legal Magix license...I just uninstalled and re-installed and seems to be working now. I did have to re-enter my serial number.
