Hard drive died. Installed new hard drive, need to reinstall Vegas

This week my hard drive died. I had to install a new hard drive, and now I'm reinstalling all of my software. I need to reinstall my copy of Vegas Movie Studio 14 Platinum. I'm having a very hard time doing it, and this website is saying my product key is already used (well of course, it's used on my broken hard drive). Help? Thank you!

Go to your Magix account https://www.magix.com/us/support/my-service-center/

Then to My Products where you should find your VMS14P. Deactivate it from your old drive there.

Eric - Good morning and thank you so much for the comment/advice/link. The menu lets me go to User Data, Info Service, Product Registration, Create Activation Code, My Contracts, and Log Out. I went to each one of these. The only section related was the Create Activation Code section. Unfortunately, it's giving me a message that says "Serial Number Already Used - The serial number you entered has already been used. You may have already registered. Registering again is not necessary. If you have any questions, please contact out technical support team: http://support.magix.net" Then, of course there is no support team, no live person to talk to, so I can't clear this up with them on the phone.

If you followed the link given by @EricLNZ, you will have found the 'I already have a MAGIX login'. Choose (check) that option, login to Your Account and then choose My Products and there, you can de-activate your current activations. Easy peasy.

The FAQ about this in section 9 here. Applies to Movie Studio versions as well. There is also Online Live Chat, advice here in section 6. The support link you got is outdated. Ask VEGAS support starts here.

It appears @MICHAEL-VANDERDRIFT you went to your account but the My Products item is missing! This is what you should have:

Did you purchase your product from Magix or somewhere else?

Eric - That is exactly right sir!

MusicVid - I actually purchased it from Best Buy, then just installed it and ran it on my laptop, and all was fine until this hard drive crash incident. Now that I have a repaired hard drive (M2 SSD, faster than ever!) I'm reinstalling everything (Adobe Creative Suite, Music Recording Programs, etc) and this one program is giving me a bit of a hard time as a result. At the end of the day, it's not the end of the world if this doesn't work out......but I thought I'd give it a try of course since I did purchase it years ago.

Thank you and everyone else for trying to help!

Michael

@MICHAEL-VANDERDRIFT My only other thought is perhaps you used a different email address?
