HOS Hitfilm integration ?

That certainly would be interesting if that were possible.

You are right about using HOS to send photos to an editor (I use Paintshop Pro) and audio to your favorite audio editor. I wonder if this would be possible.

@Reyfox For photo I also use PSP , for audio I use waveab , I love the way HOS works , just a click and you're in the program you want . It would be amazing if this could be possible for composite shots , programs like Hitfilm or maybe even After Effects.

@Wiew, yes, HOS is a time saver for sure and I am glad I have it.

But it would be interesting to hear from Wayne and hear about if it is possible. Also, would it be worth the effort.

@Wiew I like the idea of that, VP20 won't open either VE19 or Hitfilm Pro, I just tried in VP20 on the HOS External Apps option, it opened Hitfilm but that was it, no transfer of media etc..

Why in HOS?? Copy HitFilm.fio2007-config (if Hitfilm express or pro are installed) to your Vegas Pro 20 program directory and "edit in Hitfilm" is available.

C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 19.0,

copy VegasEffects.fio2007-config & HitFilm.fio2007-config

Paste them in C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 20.0,

I now have VE19 & Hitfilm Pro in V Edit 20 & they both work 🕺🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️👍👍😁

Sorry for the delay in responding. I've been on a month-long road trip and will not return to my development machine till next week. To the best of my recollection, the solution offered by @frmax was the one I was using for testing awhile back. Since that worked reasonably well, there was no need to re-invent the wheel in HOS. In any case, I'll take a look next week.

Confirmed that simply adding the appropriate config file was the approach I used in Vegas 17 and 18. Also works for V20 on my system using HitFilm Express. Adding the edited media file as a take seems a good approach and the one I've used for quite a few HOS scripts.
