Open one of your webcam videos in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy the report that is generated and paste it to this forum. Once we know more about the file's compression systems, frame rate and resolution we'll be better able to advise you.

Steve Grisetti's response, here, is an example of the sort of polite, helpful post that encourages a questioner to provide the additional information needed for others to help, without insulting or discouraging that individual. Responses like this help to promote the product and to attract others to it.

Interspersed with the helpful and polite responses I've seen are a rather disturbing number of snotty, insulting and dismissive ones, such as rraud's here. Comments like this serve only to discourage other users and to drive them away from the product. Forum members should remember that the continuing availability of any software, and its ongoing development and improvement, is dependent upon its success in the marketplace.

And Magix should consider what sort of experience it wants its paying customers to have while using the sponsored forums.

Maybe you did not get what @rraud  was meaning with this? I think I did because this is since years not a Sony product anymore, so what program does the OP means?

Of all the advice that I've ever read on the forum, "Pay attention to detail." is the best.

No, but your response certainly makes you seem snotty. Perhaps that's just the way Vegas forums are in the Magix era. The predominance of your posts in this forum certainly suggests that might be the case, Musicvid.

I don't think the forums are any more "snotty" than they were in the Sony Creative Software era. In fact my experience is that they are more friendly nowadays. But one does get frustrated when posters cannot even get the name of their software correct. But it's my fault because as a mod as I should have edited out "Sony" when the post first appeared but didn't. I would have done so if it appeared in the title.

Are you sure that moderators should do this? How they can be sure that "Sony" should be replaced by "Magix", but not "16" or "17" by "13" for example? Do you have magic ball? :)

@Cliff-Ashley Check out this link see item C in Nick Hopes stuff. Given that you are currently looking for a solution to your problem you may not at this time care to share your experience of this thread, but if you feel inclined to at a later stage, given problem resolution, then by all means let us know what you think of your experience.

@fifonik There is no Sony Vegas 16, only Vegas 16 (produced by Magix). So it's quite safe to remove "Sony". No magic ball required

I meant one might want to write "Sony Vegas 13" and incorrectly typed "Sony Vegas 16" instead (6 just near 3 on numeric keyboard).

How moderator supposed to know without magic ball what OP wanted to type: "Sony Vegas 13" or "Magix Vegas 16"

I believe that such things should not be fixed by moderators.
